talenting. was founded by Jonathon Woolfrey and he leads the West Australia Office as State Director (West).

Throughout his career, Jonathon has held executive and leadership roles across many sectors and industries, including Commonwealth and State Governments, large and medium not-for-profit organisations, and corporate organisations, making a strong professional contribution to the services these organisations deliver. From leading teams delivering strategy and service to workforces of over 12,000 staff, to delivering on projects for small and medium enterprises, Jonathon has a proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions.

Jonathon is also currently serving as a Commissioner and Deputy Chair for Catholic Education WA Limited, a Non-Executive Director overseeing a $1.6b system of 162 schools with 12,000 staff across Western Australia.

Jonathon is State Director (Non-Executive Director), WA State President and a Fellow of the Australian Human Resource Institute, the national association representing human resource and people management professionals with 20,000 members from Australia and across the globe.

Jonathon is also on the Edith Cowan University’s Centre for Work + Wellbeing Strategic Research Centre advisory board

In addition to his executive and leadership roles, Jonathon has lectured at the Curtin University’s Graduate School of Business and at Edith Cowan University’s School of Business and Law, in subjects including Strategic Human Resources and Employment Relations.

Jonathon was on the Board of Hope Community Services Ltd for 6 years, including 4 years as Chair. Jonathon was also on the Board of Holy Rosary School Doubleview for 6 years, including 4.5 years as Chair.

In addition to his work at talenting. Jonathon is currently also Academic Coordinator for the Australian Human Resource Institute’s Practicing Certification Program.

Jonathon has complemented his executive experience by completing a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Curtin University, Western Australia. Jonathon was also selected (through scholarship) to undertake an Executive Master of Public Administration, jointly through the Australia New Zealand School of Government and the University of WA’s Faculty of Law.
